De-gassing Towers

Aquatic Enterprises CO2 striping towers are simple and cost effective units engineered to provide high levels of stripping. Our smaller units (up to 24 cu. Ft of media) are made with durable corrosion resistant ABS plastic and have a square (or rectangular) footprint. The square footprint offers 20% greater volume than a footprint of an equally sized cylindrical unit. Our larger units are gel-coated fiberglass, are cylindrical for added strength and are designed and manufactured to ASTM standards.

All our towers are fitted with an air inlet port located just below the media. Both the de-gassing columns and trickle towers can come complete with a blower mount pre-installed.

Our towers are uniquely designed to provide a positive air flow through the media counter to the current of the water, insuring 100% of the air introduced to the tower exits through the outlet port (located on the top of the unit). The outlet port is a standard PVC union and can be fitted with a drift eliminator or plumbed to vent elsewhere.

All our towers incorporate a water inlet port union, which manifolds to an internal, maintenance-free nozzle(s). The nozzles are designed specifically for Counter Flow applications.

Aquatic Enterprises CO2 stripping towers come complete with large void space structured media for effective CO2 removal. The media has 69 sq. ft. /cu ft. of effective surface area and incorporates a cross flow design, increasing contact time to water and air.

We can offer these towers with a substrate support plate for loose media applications.
